BEAKING NEWS : Juan Dolio.- The Ministry of Sports will organize, starting from Holy Wednesday, the fifth edition of the Recreation and Sport Camps of the Holy Week for all the country.

The informations were given by the Minister of Sports Felipe Payano who announced that the inauguration will take place this Wednesday in the Rehabilitation Center of Santo Domingo, and later in the day, on the Boca Chica and Juan Dolio beaches.

He said that a 83 camps, located in beaches and recreation areas will operate under the supervision of the ministry technical staff, physical education teachers and trainers.

The inauguration ceremony will begin at 04.00 pm this Wednesday in Juan Dolio.

The Minister of Sports added: The president Leonel Fernández wishes all the people to be able to enjoy a healthy recreation and a true meditation during the Holy Week, and this is the reason why he asked us to create this camps again this year in the whole country.

During the last two years this enterprise has been operating in our country under the name of Petroholding Caribe, devoting itself to the investment and construction of projects as houses, villas and towers, all in Juan Dolio zone.

This group, which is part of the development promoters of Juan Dolio, feels concerned by this zone. It contributes to the stimulation of tourism and to the growth of this employment source in Dominican Republic, with this investment of one thousand million pesos.

This project has 17 levels of apartments, which possess a large lobby with exit to the beach, luxury hotel boutique with 22 suites, restaurant, 3 swimming pools, marina with piers for luxury yachts, a diving center, tennis courts and squash courts.

BREAKING NEWS: SAN PEDRO DE MACORIS. - Hispaniola Park, an aquatic, tourist and entertaining park with 24 thousand square meters will be built in the tourist area of Juan Dolio.

To begin the project, it was necessary to obtain an environmental licence of which details were publicly discussed on last Thursday to the Municipal Town hall.

The new park will be dedicated to the family leisure through the interaction, the possibility of seeing marine and terrestrial animals like the dolphins, the sea lions, the sharks, the birds, the horses and many others.

Some of them will be also used in educational and therapeutic activities in an open space which supports the contact with the nature and the respect of the environment.

Hispaniola Park will be located on the coast of Juan Dolio at the Km 53 of the Boulevard, at a distance of 24 kilometers from Las Americas Airport and far from 40 minutes of Santo Domingo.
