Juan Cohén underlines the success of the British Cup

Excellent technical and organizational level

BREAKING NEWS: JUAN DOLIO. - The president of the Dominican Federation of Golf (FEDOGOLF), Juan Cohén, underlined the success obtained by the XI British Golf Cup, event which took place last week in the Metro Country Club links of Juan Dolio, with a special dedication for the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in the country, Ian A. Worthington.

I congratulate the British Commerce Chamber of the Dominican Republic, in the person of its president Robert Herrera, for the success of its golf cup ; expressed Cohén during the ceremony of handing-over of the contest prizes.

He expressed that that was a very well organized and with a good technical level event. The persons in charge of the event set up a splendid a tournament .

The British Cup became a tradition and every year, the amateurs of golf await the date of the event impatiently. This thanks to its impeccable organization and to the excellent services offered to the participant added Cohén.

The IV Golf Tournament of the ACD will take place in the Metro Country Club

It will be celebrated on March 29^th, 2009

The fourth Golf Tournamentof the Association of Sportscasters of Santo Domingo (ACD), will be celebrated on March 29^th, 2009, on the Metro Country Club golf course, in Juan Dolio, San Pedro de Macorís.

The information was revealed by Toñito Ramírez, organizer of the event, who ensured that everything was ready to welcome the best golfers of the country, during a tournament that became a true traditon in the Dominican Republic golf world.

Ramírez explained that the tournament counted on the support of the Dominican Federation of Golf (FEDEGOLF), directed by Juan Cohén, and was organized according to the Best Ball game, with the A, B and C categories.

He said that a group of men and women, directed by the ACD president, were working hard in order to ensure this event will be better that the past ones.
He added that the tournament will give prizes to the three finalits of each category, and to the couple who has more points too.
